Electronics and computing has always been one of my interests ever since I was at school. At that time all you had were the discrete 74 series TTL and 4000 series CMOS chips and I remember being fascinated learning about each one. At college I took A level electronics and passed with an A grade, then onto a university course in electronic engineering where I acheived a 2.1 with honors. From there I went into an electronics career starting out in communications where I did some practical real world electronics and designed and built a multi drop single wire telephony system using FPGAs.
