SideWorks™ is Coreworks patent pending architectural template for rapid creation of hardware blocks with varying degrees of programmability, from fixedfunctions to fully programmable processors and DSP cores. Our unique design methodology based on proprietary design tools permits automatic generation of hardware blocks, programming and simulating them at various levels of abstraction, as well as emulating the blocks in FPGA for insystem verification. Compared to expensive and power hungry DSP core or multiprocessor alternatives, our solution is three to five times more efficient in terms of area and power consumption.
