We, Ron and Jack, are exIBMers who took early retirement back in 1987. Shortly afterwards we recognized the need for someone to offer Repair and Refurbishing services R&R Services for the IBM 7494 & 7525 ELF terminals that had been sold and installed around the world. We filled the gap left when support for these highly reliable terminals, ruggedized for harsh factory floor environments, had been dropped by IBM shortly after they introduced a new family of data collection terminals. As IBM introduced more new terminal types, we started offering R&R services for the older products. In April of 2000, we bought from IBM the Intellectual Property Rights and IBMs inventory of parts for the IBM 7526 model MTC and we have been building these units, sans logo, ever since.
